eHeritage
This is a project initiated by the State Library of Tasmania to assist Tasmania's local history organizations. Its intention is to secure the future of Tasmania's vulnerable cultural history and documentary heritage by the use of technology.
As one of the participating organizations the Trust has currently two image collections in the repository that are viewable by the general public.
These images collections are works in progress and do not show all objects held at these locations by the Trust.
Latrobe Area Photographic Collection
The Latrobe Court House Museum holds a large collection of images tracing the area's history. This is now available to view on-line together with the Curators' notes. Prints from the majority of images are available for noncommercial use!
R.Shott & Son wood Souvenir Collection
Launceston's Old Umbrella Shop, owned and managed by the Trust, houses a significant souvenir wood collection. Explore a collection guide that highlights the history of the Shott family and the Old Umbrella Shop collection
Scrimshaw at Runnymede
A fascinating collection of 19th Century scrimshaw is one of the many attractions housed at Runnymede.
